Ever wanted to start over? Wanted another chance to succeed? For the five members of Silence So Loud, the dream is becoming a reality. A band from Akron/Canton Ohio, Silence So Loud has brought together piano and modern rock to create a new and fresh sound which is in a genre of its own. From the fans’ point of view, online recordings don’t do the band justice. With the amount of time and effort they have set forth, each member of Silence So Loud brings his own inspiration to the mix.
Drummer Chad Ostrowski is without a doubt one of the strongest drummers from the area. Influences such as Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater), Neil Pert (Rush), and Danny Carrey (Tool) help bring out Chad’s creative performance. Guitarists Chad Mitchell and Brett Klinger bring a very exclusive and unforgettable sound to the band. Chad and Brett have studied the techniques, showmanship, and skills of Jimi Hendrix, John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), along with Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), and the duo of James Hetfield/ Kirk Hammett (Metallica) respectively. As a team, the guys have created some admirable and inspirational sounds. Jim Bell also brings his own ingenuity to reality on the bass guitar. With Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, David Lee Roth), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver) as some of his favorites, Jim makes his presence known while on stage or recording. Last, but definitely not least is keyboard player and front man, Eric Bunnell. Matthew Thiessen (Relient K) and Michael Sheppard (Lovedrug) are just two artists who have influenced Eric’s passion for his music.
Any fan of music would think this combination to be impossible, but Silence So Loud, with their different backgrounds, demonstrates that it can be done. The guys are full of energy and ready to draw in the fans. The band believes that they have the talent, dedication, and drive to go the distance. These five are willing to do whatever it takes to be number one in music today. One day, they hope to be seen as real living proof that if you believe, you will get a second chance.
