An intelligent way to tell you
Simple Plan aren't great
I will probably be attacked by at least one
thirteen year old simple plan fan for writing
this, but that's a risk I'm willing to
take. Not once will I say, "Simple
Plan fuckin sucks" because that's
not what I'm here to say. To all the
people here saying that, I understand you but
there are better ways of getting your point
across. They don't completely suck. If I
hear something by them like on a movie or
something then they get stuck in my head.
They're catcy but that's really all
they have going for them. I give them props
for the "untitled" song because
they actually do have a real message in it.
But as for ALL their other songs... Well
theres no message worth listening to. If you
relate to Simple Plan's lyrics and
that's why you think your lifes tough well
I have news for you... Don't grow up
because you will not survive. I understand
you're all young and for many of you
that's the only problems you've had.
But you also should start to learn there are
worse things then not having parents who
understand you like... Not having parents.
There are alot of people saying this, but
you're not saying it right. I'm not
here to diss you kid's music I'm just
trying to teach you. If Simple Plan is the
deepest thing you've ever heard then I
feel bad for you because you are missing out
on some good music. I won't try to
categorize them, but I'll tell you what
they're not. They are not punk. I'm
talking about genre here. They don't fit
the punk sound. Just like Ashlee Simpson
isn't rap. See where I'm getting at? If
you think they're punk well its obvious
you've never heard a real punk band in
your life. They are not terrible. They can
play their instruments, I really doubt
they'll be remembered 30 years from now
like The Ramones are. Believe it or not music
actually gets deeper then complaining about
your parents. Kids, try some Operation Ivy.
Maybe you won't like the sound but take a
look at the lyrics. The songs are about much
more important things and are much deeper.
I'm just trying to teach you guys.

I may not agree with everything you said up
there, but I still think it's okay to say
you don't like them, because people all
have different tastes and opinions. If they

i used to be a major fan but
thats a thing of the past
but yes there are definitely
better artists out there and
these guys are good some of their
songs make sense but most are the way
