And that's exactly how the band are feeling right now as they prepare for a busy year ahead - with a debut album out soon and forth coming tour, Sing for Sorrow can hardly believe how fast things have clicked into place.
Formed in early January 2006 over two bottles of Bud at their local pub, "The Ship Inn" by Neil Hopkins (Vocals, Guitar) and Paul Woodruff (Guitar).
"When I first met Neil I thought he was a right moron," admits Paul, "and I think Neil felt the same!"
"It's amazing what a mutual respect for beer and music can acheive!" adds Neil.
with the recruitment of Andy on drums and John on Bass (friends from Neils previous band), The line up was complete! 2006 looks set to be the year for Sing for Sorrow.
