Sir Mix-A-Lot was born August 12, 1963. His beginning was in the late 1980's. Sir Mix-A-Lot's genre is rap, and the style is mostly West Coast Rap and Pop-Rap. The hit song "Baby Got Back" caused a lot fo controversy about the sexist and even racist lyrics in the song. Sir Mix-A-Lot has six albums out. The first came out in 1988 and was called Swass. The second came out in 1989 and is called Seminar. The third CD that came out was Mack Daddy (1992). The next CD was released in 1996 and was called Chief Boot Knocka. His final CD is called Daddy's Home and was released in 2003. Some artist's he was influenced by were Gary Numan, War, Parliament, James Brown, The Accused, and Channel One. Some artists Sir Mix-A-Lot has worked with Strange, E-Dawg, Joe Smith, Paul Speer, and Michael Powers. His record labels are Warner Brothers, Nasty Mix, and American.
