One awkward night in the not so distant past, three guys met up in what
would be the beginning of a story they will tell for the rest of there
lives. It took place in the same town, but at three different places.
Despite his worst fears, David stooped to the level of joining a
Ritchie
Valens Cover band in order to cover his rent. One night at a club,
while
singing a cover of "Oh Donna", out came this shriek and ruckus. An
awkward
guy, who had clearly had too much to drink, began shouting the lyrics.
Before long he was escorted out of the club by a few burly bouncers.
Unfortunately in the fray, David happened to get hit in the head with a
bottle, which made him clumsily walk into a couple and spill their
drinks.
The woman’s fresh new white dress took the brunt of the accident and
was
rendered useless after the exchange. Without knowing the reason David
had
carelessly run into them, the gentleman offered a few husky blows to
the
head and later pressed charges for what they believed to be public
drunkenness. The police were soon to arrive because of an incident that
placed them outside the club not long before that…
On the other side of town, a riot had broken out…a gentleman by the
name of
Brandon, Brando 5000 as he claimed, wore a pinstripe get up suit with
suspenders. Having had one too many highballs earlier in the evening,
he was
beating the crap out of several bystanders who claimed him to have been
performing the moon walk to the tune of Billie Jean on top of their
vehicles. With patented dance moves and fighting styles, Brando 5000
took
out a good dozen of the on-comers before he was tazed and hauled off in the
back
of a paddy wagon.
Now together in a jail cell, both David and Brandon awoke from their
drunken
stupor as another gentleman was being thrown into their new digs. With
an
American flag striped shirt, long locks of hair, jeans that resembled
those
of the late Abbie Hoffman, and the foulest mouth north of the
Mason-Dixon
Line; the new cellmate introduced himself as Joe, or “Joeysoserious” as
the
world would later know him. He was taken into custody for an earlier
public
disturbance. Word has it that he organized one of the largest movements
the
town had ever seen.
After sifting through the who, what, when, where, and how they all got
there, they decided to combine their abilities and put them to good
use.
With Brando 5000’s dancing abilities and knowledge of moving to the
beat,
David’s musical knowledge and melodic voice, and Joeysoserious’s art of
persuasion, they formed The Solitary System (or as Joeysoserious puts
it…”we
created a system within the system”). The rest of what became of them
and
their story is now up to you…
