S.O.E first formed in 2001 starting out as a four piece band, two of the original band members left to pursue other interests which resulted in decimating Someone Else. The last gig the band performed was in April 2003 at the Manchester Roadhouse which was a sell out night, after a few weeks the band went there different ways and lost contact.
Dan Thornhill continued to create and write songs in the S.O.E style developing an addictive amazing Pop Punk sound. Dan then with his new material reformed the Band with two new members becoming a dedicated Punk three piece.
The new additions to the band are: pumping out the bass Graeme Kynaston, and Experimental Drummer Gaz Coles with Dan make a pretty formidable band.
Since the reform the band have been involved in almost a year of relentless practise sessions, becoming what they are today which is a tight close knit Pop Punk Band. The great melodic sound this band has to offer shows how they are influenced by the American Modern Punk style.
The United Kingdom has yet to produce a modern Punk band, with S.o.E we are getting there. With there melodic riffs, catchy choruses & energetic stage show that will get any crowd jumping.
