Hello Starmillers!
Here’s some of what we’ve been up to lately…
- Visco -
The “Live Now (Chillout Mix)” video can now be watched on YouTube.

“Live Now (Chillout Mix)” also saw its debut release on a compilation. It was chosen as the starting track for
“Chillin' in the nude (selected by Tafubar)”.

The Chillout Mix will also be featured on the soon to be released
“GOA Chillout Zone Vol. 2”. This compilation is the sequel to the widely acclaimed first GOA Chillout Zone CD.

“Live Now (Radio Edit)” made it into the Top 10 of the Club/Dance charts in January and February 2009 on Ourstage!

- Sonic Adventure Project -
Remember I mentioned the “GOA Chillout Zone Vol. 2” release?
Yes, there will also be a “Sonic Adventure Project” track on that one: “Forty-two”. Expected to be released this May!

The track “Pink Synth” will be on the forthcoming “Café Abstrait Vol. 6” compilation , put together by popular DJ/producer Raphael Marionneau for Abstrait Music.

N-Joy Radio, June 28. You will probably hear some new stuff there, so check it out!

“Waters in Motion” will be part of a limited edition compilation called “Place du Marché – Les Sons” to be released by Lili Is Pi records out of Luxembourg. The CD will be exclusively distributed to Cafés and bars of the area.

Starmill News Sept 08
The song “Inner Journey” by the Sonic Adventure Project has been nominated for the 2008 Hollywood Music Awards (Genre: New Age/Ambient). The main event will take place in the prestigious Kodak Theatre Complex in Hollywood on November 20, 2008.

The same song has now been in the Top 10 Ambient charts of one of the biggest Music Websites for months. www.garageband.com
Visco’s “Live Now (Chillout Mix)” conquered the charts on Ourstage.com and became Visco’s first # 1 there on July 28. It has remained in the Techno/Ambient charts ever since, landing a Top 10 spot for July and August. www.ourstage.com
Sonic Adventure Project’s “Waters In Motion” followed the example and was # 1 for a few days in August in the Instrumental charts. It also made the Top Ten for the month August.
Both Visco and Sonic Adventure Project are Semifinalists in Britain’s most notable Songwriting competition:
The UK Songwriting Contest 2008.
Visco’s “Live Now (Radio Edit)” in the Urban category.
And the brand new Sonic Adventure Project song “A New Morning” in the Pop category.

For fans of really chilled ambient music, we recorded a DJ set for the French radio station: Radio Galaxy. The name of the show is: Prelude.

Last but not least, Starmill Records has recently joined the Merlin Network. Merlin is representing independent labels worldwide regarding the use of music on web-based platforms like YouTube or LastFM.

New compilation, music on TV and more...
Hi folks,
here's a few updates on what's been going on lately....
The track "Forty-two" will be part of the upcoming compilation "Supperclub Arrogance" to be released by Netherland-based United Recordings. Supperclub is a widely known compilation series, featuring big and not so big names.

One of our tracks will appear in the highly successful TV-show "Kyle XY". The show airs on ABC Family in the US.
