SPECTRIS has defined itself as one of New England’s premiere Progressive bands. Their first CD was received highly by local critics and on-air personalities alike leading to major gigs including an opening stint for the legendary BADFINGER and headlining the massive HARLEY RENDEZVOUS bike rally in Pattersonville, New York. After undergoing a personnel change in late 2005, SPECTRIS founders Todd Westfall and Christopher Bergmann successfully continued to keep the band alive and functioning-And with the addition of bassist Josh Mosher (Curst, Kaos)in the summer of 2007, all the pistons are firing once again. SPECTRIS performed only two times in 2006- 93.9 & 101.7's successful “ROCK THE WHALE” festival at Whaleback Mountain in Enfield, New Hampshire, and a high-profile show at the world-famous LOWELL BREWERY in Lowell Massachusetts hosted by NewEars, the New England Art Rock Society. The band was joined by Bassist Wade Mullins for those shows. SPECTRIS’s New album, INDUSTRY, will be out very soon-The new album has a decidedly darker, heavier sound than their previous Album, and along with some unbelievable new artwork by Todd, will mark the next phase in SPECTRIS’S evolution as a leading creative force in modern Progressive rock and metal.
