The same principles can be applied to Spinstill and their music. How it twists with dynamic hooks and groove-laden rhythms. How it turns from intense heaviness to emotional acoustic intensity. And how they whirl listeners about by taking them from calm subdued melodies to fierce aggressive passion.
Winding the fibers of their diverse and varied musical backgrounds, this foursome creates inspiring music into the scene of mainstream hard rock. September 2007 marks the most solidified line-up in the bands five year history to date as the new members each bring a wealth of knowledge and credentials to the proverbial table. Founding member and vocalist Chad Newman is joined by Paul Charlebois (guitar), his long-time friend Brandon Dekok (drums) and newcomer Tom Evans (bass). This melodic modern alternative rock band, based in the Kitchener / Waterloo region, are known for their high energy shows, playing alongside the likes of Social Code, Attack in Black, The Black Maria and Flatlined.
With a recently recorded 4-song EP, Spinstill is currently writing new material and planning to head into the studio in early in 2008. The next step for Spinstill is to build an online presence and create the buzz that will make the hair on your arms stand at attention and beg for more.
With the momentum building, Spinstill will be ready for the flick of the next coin. |
