Tim Pagnotta (vocals, guitar, songwriter)- Tim was born on January 17, 1977. He started playing drums when he was ten, but after causing quite a few head aches in his house, his father bought him a guitar. As a kid, Tim's family moved around a lot. (his father was in the army.) He lived in 13 different homes and he went to four different elementary schools, two junior highs and three high schools. Constantly being the new guy, Tim had a hard time fitting in. He turned to music to release his emotions. In 1997, Tim moved to Santa Barbara where he met drummer Ben Davis. They joined forces with bassist Airin Older, and later Marko....sugarcult was born! Sugarcult is the first and only band Tim has played in. Tim has a california tattoo, a heart tattoo, and a radio tattoo. He will be getting a new tattoo soon. He also has his ears and eyebrow pierced, although he does not wear earrins/eyebrow rings anymore.
Airin Older (harmonies, bass)-
Airin was born on July 12,1977 in Pasadena, CA. Airin's mom was an opera singer and vocal coach. His father was a bluegrass musician. Airin made his professional musical debut at age 9 in the opera "Pagliachi" at the Redlands Bowl where he sang and acted. Airin entered Santa Barbara City College in '98 and according to Tim, "was the only one that would let me cheat off his papers and not turn me in." Airin likes macho stuff like painting his nails and abstract art. If you see sugarcult live, see if you can catch his witty one-liners!
Marko DeSantis- Marko 72 was born in Philadelphia, PA. At one month old, he moved to Rome, Italy. When he was 3, he moved to Santa Barbara. Marko was involved in numerous bands before joining sugarcult. These bands include Illiterate, Lost Kittenz, Section 8, Fizzy Bangers, and many more. He is also currently involved in Bad Astronaut. Besides being in bands, Marko has also received a degree in Environmental Studies/Sociology from UCSB in '94. He also ran an independent label called My Records from '96-'98, promoted a series of shows in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and ran his own indie label called Cooler Records. He was also involved in DJing in rock 'n roll clubs in Santa Barbara. Marko met Tim at a Superdrag concert in Santa Barbara. After admiring eachothers outfits (suits), A bond was formed between the two, and Tim asked Marko to join Sugarcult.
Kenny Livingston- Kenny was born in Alexandria, Virginia. He has played the drums since he was eleven years old. Kenny was asked to join sugarcult last year due to the absence of Ben Davis. (Ben experienced substance abuse, and it was for the best of the band that he leave) Says Kenny on www.sugarcultonline.com, "I painted my drumkit myself in a black and white checker pattern and I love Canada Dry ginger ale."

| Hey, I know this video kind of confused a lot of people; let me explain it. I believe fuse held some contest over the summer where you could make your own music video for your favorite song, and send it to fuse. If Fuse liked it, they'd play it on TV. This animated video won the contest (or got 3rd place or something), and is now being played on Fuse. It's doing pretty well. I like the video, it's funny. | Attractive_Today | | | |
