| Formed originally in Portimão at the end of summer '02, Synead suffered some member changes till the present day. During two years we did some gigs and participated in some contests. Around 2004 we started recording our first EP - "State of Oppression", and also did a few more widespread gigs, playing alongside bands like: Ho-Chi-Minh, Mindlock, Digamma and Skapula. In the summer of 2005, our bassist Luis is replaced by Tiago, bringing new influx of concept and influence. Rapidly we returned to the stage with bands: One-Hundred-Steps, For the Glory, Kontrattack, Behind All Words,If Lucy Fell, Taurina, Painstruck and Moonspell. Synead has concluded the soon to be released EP "State of Oppression", where punk, hardcore, and metal are explored in a balanced melodic "destruction". |
