| T occupies a unique space in the current modern rock scene. Their sound has been compared to Coldplay, Wilco, Modest Mouse, and U2, but transcends conventional boundaries between genres. While connected to the tradition of American Rock and Roll, T’s music that is fresh and relevant. Guitarist Joshua Caress’s sonic presence, drummer Peter Koeplin’s syncopated rhythms, bassist Jordan Caress’s unmistakable virtuosity, keyboardist Alex Caress’s classical sensibilities, and Adam Caress’s acoustic guitar, moving vocal performance, and thought-provoking lyric sense combine to create the magic of “Inside”, the complex textures of “Falling Stars”, and the raw sensuality of “Down”. All of these songs appear on their latest EP, “Plan A”, and together they hint at the versatility that has become the band’s trademark.
This unique sound is the result of an organic combination of family, friendship, and love of music. And the result is breathtaking. T has become one of the most dynamic live acts to emerge from the Boston rock scene in recent years, writing and creating at a frenetic pace, criss-crossing America’s Northeast to deliver the new material. The band has built up a significant following over the past five years, electrifying East Coast nightclubs with energetic three-hour sets - their love for the music evident in each and every song. Whether playing Boston’s Middle East, Harper’s Ferry, or T.T. the Bear’s, New York City’s Arlene’s Grocery or Lion’s Den, or Nashville’s legendary Exit/In, they reach out to the audience, feeding off of its energy and giving back all of their own.
