In the year 2000 Marshaie " Tashyne " White began his underground rap/r&b career. Growing up in the city of San Angelo,TX, the young male artist had been into music ever since he was the age of 6 in 1991, singing in the church choir at Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church and performing solos at a such a young age the boy grew to love music. Not just Gospel,but all types of music. It became his passion. In 1999 he moved from San Angelo to Midland,TX, where he jump-started his career himself by making his own beats, recording,selling his mixtapes and battle-rapping other kids at Lee Highschool and around the neighborhood and in near by cities whenever there was a huge game at the stadiums where he lived. His lyrics and Tongue-Twisting capabilities caught other opponents off-guard. Going by the artist name "Playboy-Tha Freestyle Prince". As word spread through the city, he gained the love of the streets, thus droppig his first underground mixtape. With that pushing his name to a higher level he began recording with the artist Da Reality (who is known today as Nice Wit). After dropping a couple of freestyle mixtapes,Tashyne created and is President and CEO of Thuggshyne Records and the President of the Thuggshyne Click. Which consisted of over 50 members at the time in 2001. He also wanted to persue his love of R&B, by forming a group with highschool friends called "D.G.M.K". Singing in the cafeteria gained them recognition through the school and with the ladies by performing songs by artist such as Dru Hill, Boyz II Men, Keith Sweat, Sisqo, Genuwine, Silk, 112, Donell Jones, and Carl Thomas. Group scored a record deal in 2002 with R. Entertainment. But after some shady dealings and not being able to record their music the left the label. The group fell apart and went their seperate ways. In late 2002 Marshaie "Playboy-Tha Freestyle Prince" White, found out the meaning of his real name "Marshaie" it meant " To Shine ". Upon learning this the artist changed his artist name to " Tashyne-Tha Southern Hot Boy". He dropped his 1st mixtape under the alias Tashyne, album titled "Don't Get It Twisted" where he displayed a variety of skill of R&B,Rap,and Tongue-Twisting, selling 300 copies on the streets. A week later he dropped the 2nd mixtape "Don't Play Wit Me". He then follwed up with the following mixtapes:

Soon after he garnered the label T.S.R. Entertainment and dropped the title of his highly anticipated Mixtape from "Sweat 4 Me". He is currently working on his new mixtape (which was titled "Sweat 4 Me") titled "On Demand" hitting streets Mid-Summer 2008. After pushing out some Underground Smash Hits from his past Mixtapes, fans can rest assure knowing that Tashyne is back and flyer then ever....2008 is HIS year.
