Stylistically I’m an R&B singer, but I can’t ignore the vibe that I feel inside. It’s driving the younger generation of my Latino people and impacting the American culture the way Hip Hop did back in the days, starting with a small group of people and eventually appealing to audiences everywhere. I feel my sound, Reggaeton N’B, is going to help take the whole Reggaeton movement to another level.” Thalisha teamed up with the hit producers behind Universal Record’s recording artists Nina Sky’s “Move Ya Body,” The Jettsonz to record a cover of Mary J. Blige’s classic “Real Love,” over a Reggaeton influenced rhythm. “Real Love was the first single to marry the sounds of Hip-Hop and R&B Soul, so it was the right selection to combine the two worlds of Reggaeton and R&B.,” says Thalisha.
Thalisha shines both on and off the stage. Her vocal ability and dancing skills make her one of the most exciting performers around. She’s young, charismatic and has a beauty that is in the marketing class of Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce. With all of these attributes Thalisha has all the ingredients of a superstar.
