The Dank Mr. Wilson is a collaboration of two of South Africa's freshest producers/Dj's/Musicians working together to produce quality music that combines the warmth and fullness of real instruments and vocals with the rawness of electronica and DJing elements. The two elements are "The Dank" - Ross Finck, and "Mr.Wilson" - Simon Wilson. We boast a huge range in music, bridging such genres as "Big Band", "Blue's", "Electonica", "Hip-Hop" and "Funk" to name a few. Accompanied by intellectual writers/MC's such as "The Baker Man", "MS DOS", and "Mr.Wilson (Rebel Clef)", we get an important message across to the listener over beats that will make you feel uncontrollably excited. We are currently working on our second album which like our debut album "Shaping Plastic", is guaranteed to shake the foundations of South African music, and destined to spread rapidly across the planet. All feedback has been tremendous so far on the first album and we are confident that YOU the audience will find something special in our passion. All material was recorded and produced by TheDankMrWilson at "NoiseFloor" studios situated in "The Old Castle Brewery" in Cape Town, South Africa.
