Biography

Three Days Grace was formed in the small town of Norwood in Ontario, Canada. The group consists of Adam Gontier (vocals/guitar), Brad Walst (bass) and Neil Sanderson (drummer). The group, which originally called themselves Groundswell, used to be a five piece band during the years 1992 until 1997. In 1997, they became a trio and changed their name to what it is today. Three Days Grace eventually relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and began working with producer Gavin Brown. At this time they gave Brown all their songs and he picked through them to find what he felt would be the most promising. He really liked the track, “(I Hate) Everything About You.” The group then re-recorded the song. They then got a publishing deal with EMI Records, and soon after signed to Jive Records. They then hit the studio and recorded their self-title, debut album in Woodstock, New York. The album, Three Days Grace, was released on July 22, 2003. The first single, “(I Hate) Everything About You,” is a billboard hit and has received much air time on radios.

Three Days Grace a complete RIP OFF! Three Days Grace successfully ripped off [url=http://www.bandhunt.com/artist_site/band.php/ug001/]Ugly Kid Joe[/url] (heh, notice how there is no bio on them). There terrible single I Hate Everything About You is merely stolen from Ugly Kid Joe's equally terrible single Everything About You(Which, coincidently has the same chorus;)). Normally I would let this go if it was a COVER, and the original band was credited and received the royalties off the song. However, 3DG has taken the song, and claims it as their own, which is completely unacceptable. Also, as a Canadian band, they should be ashamed of themselves for being such a bad example of Canadian music.	WarHawk

I haven't heard the song by Ugly Kid Joe, so I can't comment on that, but I've found that the verse from "I Hate Everything About You" is actually a complete ripoff of the song "Lakini's Juice" by Live. Not only is it the exact same riff, but he even sings it the same way Kowalczyk does. Listen to one right after the other and you'll swear you were listening to the exact same song. I can't understand how 3 Days Grace got away with this. They should have been sued.	ScubaSteve69

Oh yeah and I looked up the lyrics for Everything About You and the only similar things are the words "...I hate everything about you...", besides that, he talks about hating mountains and mothers and crap, wtf does this have in comparison w/ (I Hate) Everything About You? the lyrics are nothing alike, although i see where you're coming from, your argument about the subject sucks	BLASTT
You must be on pot to thing that "Ugly Kid Joe"'s song is anything like Three Days Grace's (I Hate) Everything About You. In his old fagot rambling he only says I hate everthing about you which has been used in many songs b4, so I guess everyone just rips lyrics now.
