Mentally Aware Production Unlimited Inc., operating under the name of M.A.P.U.Entertainment
Inc., an Atlanta based company established by Uverlyn Brown.
In the past M.A.P.U. Inc. started as an underground media magazine producing consciousness entitled 'Africa's Children'. A local publication with 8,500 plus circulation throughout the state of Georgia. Targeting those 'elders and youth' who are in pursuit of mental awareness of culture, politics, art, and embrace revolution as a change for the positive.
These efforts led to an undeniable urge to reach the masses in a diverse way. Music...the seed for the soul, motivated this young entreprenuer to mastermind the debut of Mentally Aware Productions Unlimited.
The company, (MAPU Entertainment Inc.) was started in 1999. Located in Atlanta, Ga. as a for
profit corporation. MAPU Entertainment Inc., serves as executive producer for the new onslaught of talent arising out of the southeast region. Providing oppurtunities for young, up and coming artists while showing the world a new vision in marketing top talent out of the southeast region.
The company has established close knit departments to handle a variety of music genres,
including pop, rhythm & blues, new soul, Hip Hop, and Gospel. In doing that, we have created a
diverse roster of recording artist whose projects are ready to go. Selected over the past year,
these highly talented individuals will enable MAPU Entertainment to penetrate the music market
place quickly.
