WHY??
why doesnt anybody talk about thursday.When they are one of the greatest bands out there, and no one talks about them.what the fuck is wrong with some of you people.you see, it is fans like me that keep the band alive,fans like me that will go out and buy 10 of their cds so they can get a profit and keep going.I am a true fan and some of you people are making me doubt that you are, and that makes me depressed to see people act that way towards a band that they say is their favorite.

| I think Thursday is an awesome band. I'm listening to their cd right now, and I just can't get enough of them. I didn't start listening to them until recently, so all I have heard is War all of the time, and some stuff I have downloaded, but I am getting full collapse for Xmas, so I get it in a few days. Second, "emo" and "screamo" is music for upper middle class white kids, living in the suburbs, who never want for anyhing, so they perpetuate their own sadness. Thirdly, thursday,saves the day, taking back sunday, dashboard,
and every other gay "emo" band are grown men, deliberately making music for teenagers to sell albums, and ripping off real great rock bands like Fugazi, Shudder to Think,Jawbox etc...

| I don't think DC and TBS are emo or screamo in any sense whatsoever. DC used to be, they are still good, but they are no longer emo. Thursday, however, I have always grouped in w/ Fugazi in the genre of emo. This is because emo stands for Emotional Hardcore...lets think...Thursday is emotional, and hardcore...so is Fugazi. | Rejectifyme |

Let's get a little clarification.. i work
in a music store.. Thursday is
'screamo'.. just another little
sub-genre because people didn't want to
classify themselves so generally. their
lyrics and sound are very original..
there's No mistaking the leadsingers
voice.. Ever.. and for the record.. artists
like the beatles and Mike Patton go out of
their way to be "original" in
this sad little search for existentialism
that they never find because they're too
busy trying 'not to be like anyone
else' instead of being themselves.. suck

Thursday rocks. Their lyrics are totally
original and the lead singer has a very
distinguished voice that sets the band apart
from other screamo bands. All in all, they

i thought i heard something about geoff
saying when they started, they didn't
really want to make a big deal about their
name or themselves, and there's the lyric
in The Cure's "Friday I'm In
Love" that says "thursday, i
don't care about you..." and i
always thought geoff was referring to that.
but i could be wrong. anyway, thursday is
way rad and has anyone heard about when the

Thursday is awesome, i had been brainwashed
in Christianity for a while and didn't
have music...when I found myself, and the
contradictions in the Bible and life, I
started trying to find music that had power.
Thursday is one of the most original bands I
have heard and I will defend them, unless
they disappoint me on the new album, which
won't at all happen; but yeah people are
fucked up and downplay them or say that the
singer sucks, the same people that can't
understand the lyrics or appreciate the
fusion and heart they put into it...and no,
they are not making their own sadness...only
people who haven't indulged in some
