haha, what an ass
so i was looking for some fun lyrics for
something....so i looked up the lyrics to
Neobamboom (from TA's first cd). i'd
never really looked at the lyrics before,
because as ive said, i dont like TA
lyrics..anywho, i just found out that one of
the lines in the song is "don't you
know hunny that i'm nick13 and i can give
you what he never can"
haha, that made me laugh. nick13 is such a
prick that its actually amusing.
with all the making fun of tiger army and afi
that i do, you'd think i hated them....

A couple of times I had to ask myself if it
was really you who convinced me to check out
TA!!!
But I guess of all of the ppl here you have
the most knowledge of TA and Nick, so I gotta
believe u are right about him.
So now I like a band whose founder and lead
singer and writer of all their music is a
butthead.
That's actually kinda cool!!!!

i LOVE tiger army...and i LOVE the music nick
13 makes...but him as a person...not so much.
at shows he kinda snubbs the fans and has
this "holier than thou"
attitude. at the last show i went to jeff
rofredo (TA's new bassist) talked to me
before and after the show, signed some of my
stuff, took a picture with me, answered
everybody's questions, and stayed after
the show until he got every fan's request
met. James also signed my setlist and he
signed my ticket at a previous show. Also,
at another show, Geoff Kresge took time out
to talk to me (the crazed fan) multiple
times, took pictures and signed my cd. but
Nick 13? the only time i've been able to
get near him is when Tiger Army was doing a
signing at warped tour. so its kinda like he
had to be there. All the other shows you
never see him hanging around talking to fans.
he walks on stage, plays an awsome show,
then walks off..totally ignoring all the fans
screaming his name.
but thats jsut my personal experience. im
far from the only tiger army fan that thinks
nick 13 is a bit of an ass.
oh, and did i tell you how he got arrested a
few months ago for punching the sound guy at

U know I can't figure out guys like Nick
13 who are not into their fans. I mean why
get into the business if not to please ppl
with ur music? So then ur fans like your
music, come to ur shows and buy ur cds and u
treat them like they don't exist?!?!?
In all the bands and gigs I played I was only
ask for my autograph one time. Just one
time. And I gotta tell you it was one of the
high points in my whole life.
Now I have given speaches to groups of 2000
people, received the highest merit award in
the federal government, and have even been
appointed to a position by a President of the
USA. All pretty rememberable things.
But that one person asking me for an
autograph because she liked me singing was
better than ALL the other awards, promotions,
and bonuses put together!!!!
So I REALLY can't understand an artist who
is loved by loyal fans not wanting to do all
he could for them. That really kinda makes
me pretty mad actually.
Yeah, it sounds like Nick is stuck on himself
alright. But what comes around, goes around.
I bet someday when he doesn't have all
the fans around he will realize what an ass
he was and feel bad about it.
This reminds me of a song Neil Diamond wrote
at the height of his fame. It was called
"A Free Man In Paris" and it
was about how he liked going to Paris because
no one knew him there and he was not
constantly being pressured by fans like he is
over here in the states.
I thought when I first heard that song that
he was a pompous dickhead for writing a song
about how he liked not having to deal with
fans. I'll bet now that mostly no one ppl
don't give a crap about Neil Diamond he
would probably like a little attention.

it's just like Paris now, isn't

OK, Now u got me really riled up!
Another thing that really gets me mad is when
a band has a few good albums, then suddenly
the lead singer dumps the band and goes out
on his own!!!
U know, like Rob Thomas, Sting, Gwen
Stefanie, Beyonce and a zillion others.
It's like they say "Screw the band,
I want ALL THE MONEY myself".
Personally, I think it should be legal for
the band members to drag the person out back
and beat the crap out of them for deserting
the band!!!

Hmmm, I forgot to work in that lost love
element.
So the first two verses before the chorus
will be all about how the lead singer is SO
in love with himself that he decides to screw
the band and go out on his own.
Then comes the chorus where the band beats in
his head with a crowbar.
Then the last verse where the guy, now as a
ghost stuck between earth and hell, sees
himself with his head all beat in and
realizes that he can no longer be in love
with himself because he is just too damn ugly
now!!!! Ergo, LOST LOVE!!!!

Naw, I can't dis Gwen, I really like her
stuff. Same with all the other band
deserters I mentioned (except Sting). In
fact I did reviews for all the songs on the
Beyonce cd & the cd, and Sandi just bought
the Rob Thomas cd.
Sting I just don't like. I loved the
police stuff, but do not care much for Sting
as a solo artist.
So can I dis Sting just a little?

Hey, did anyone else notice that Chan giggles

My frat was divided into the guys who drank
(me & my friends) and the guys that were into
recreational drugs.
Now if u look at what happened to all the
guys, the ones that did drugs instead of
booze are way more successful. I would never
have believed it at the time, but that is the
way it turned out over the years.
Surprisingly, the drug users turned out to be
even more successful than the guys that did
neither drugs or booze (although that sample
was WAY SMALL!! hahaha)

Maybe it's because booze is a more
constant thing (ie. something you can do for
long periods every night), and drugs tend to
be separated incidents (if that makes sense)?
Unless you're addicted to drugs, their
long-term effect isn't as detrimental to
your health...

i stopped considering myself edge a while

straight edge is too confining. i prefer to

It really irks me that so many ppl are hooked
on alcohol and it causes so much harm to
others, but the govt just keeps harping on
drug abuse!
Sandi & I are totally drug free - and that
includes the most used and dangerous drugs -
PRESCRIPTION DRUGS!!!

i do take some prescription drugs. ive got
antibiotics for lymes disease and an anti
depressant....depression runs in my family so
its not just im some whinny emo kid...ive got
low ceritonin or however you spell it.

NOT steroid based or any kind of
anti-inflammatory.

meds, make sure u have ur doc review ur

Chan, you are right, that is not a steroid
(that's the good news) but it is an
anti-inflammatory (that's the bad news)
used in a lot of both prescription and OTC
meds, such as the popular Tylenol.
This is actually the ingrediant most recently
identified as a "nasty" in both
prescription and OTC meds. A surprisingly
large num of ppl die from this each DAY in
the states.
Sandi's dad sufferred irreparable kidney
damage from that, which ultimately caused his
kidneys to fail. He was being treated for
pain when that damage occurred.
I guess u just have to be careful and do all
u can to minimize the use.
Of course, if getting rid of your head pain
involves not listening to any "head
banging" music, well, then, we all
gotta die sometimes, so keep listening to the
