Born in Lebanon, Beirut T J. Way immigrated with her family to Canada in 1976 and has resided in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, since the tender age of eight. She is a Canadian citizen who considers Canada to be her home, and is very proud of it…Her love for music drew her to write songs at the age of thirteen. And to this day, she remains to do so with a devoted passion…Just to name a few, her major influences are; Elvis Presley, Anne Murray, Paul Anka, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and many more. She is a loyal songwriter who writes from the heart & true life experiences…Her lyrics are meaningful and touching. Making a difference to the world, and leaving something beautiful behind for all to embrace and cherish is TJ’s purpose in life. And she aims to continue on, by bringing across messages of hope, love, and peace, for all to practice and enjoy!
In addition, TJWAY presently manages The Soul Touchers Music Group and has been working closely with the CHEO Foundation (Oncology Department) along with her team member Erin Simms.
