T-boz-

T-boz was born Tionne' Tenise Watkins on April 26th, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. She has a younger brother. As a child Tionne' was diagnosed with Sickle-cell anemia, a disease that can be very fatal at times, She remembers as a child that certain things other kids could do she couldn't, for instance she couldn't go into the beach water without swelling up. Her mother worked two jobs to try to support the both of them some nights for dinner she would have popcorn and watermelon and sometimes nothing at all.

She started singing in the church. When she was 16, she met a girl and they became best friends.

Left-eye-

Lefteye was born Lisa Nicole Lopez on May 27th, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She remembers as a child her father beating up not only on her mother but on her and her sister and brother, too. It seemed that everything Lisa did to try to please her dad it never worked. When she was 15, she moved to Atlanta with her boyfriend, where she met Tionne'. Lisa, Tionne' and a girl named Crystal formed a trio called TLC. The day Lisa got the contract to LaFace Records she couldn't wait to call her father because she thought she could finally please him, but before she called her mother called with bad news, her father was shot dead. Lisa couldn't believe it, but she didn't let this get her down. Soon after they were signed, there manager "pebbles" dropped Crystal and added..... a professional dancer

Chilli-

Chilli was born Rozonda Ocelean Thomas on February 27th,1971 in Atlanta, Georiga to a 19 year-old. mother and her father was Abdul Ali. No one really knows where Chilli gets her bronze-tangy brown colored skin or silky delicate hair. Since Crystal was dropped, Chilli became the new member of the trio TLC.

TLC released there first album "Oooooooh...on the TLC" tip on February 25th, 1992 with the hits "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg", "Hat 2 Da Back", "What about your friends", and "Baby, Baby, Baby". Lefteye wore a condom over her left eye to represent safe sex, it was so important to her that she wore them on her clothes to. In 1994 a series of problems arised for TLC, they filed for Chapter 11 bankrupcy and Lefteye burned down her then boyfriend an Atlanta Falcons star, Andre Rison’s house. It all started when Lefteye went in to the Master bedroom closet and found boxes and boxes of shoes, when she was discovered none were for her she blew up. When Andre got home she confronted him about it, he pushed her down and that’s when the bout started. They were hitting, slapping, punching and beating each other up. After the fight Andre’ left and Lisa dangerously upset grabbed all the boxes of shoes and threw them in the marble tub, forgeting that the tub was marble, because from a previous fright where Andre’ was out very late with two women, Lisa through the teddy bear he gave her into to the tub and lit it, because it was only cotton and the tube was non-flammable it was a very small fire. They got a new marble tub. She lit the shoes, at first the fire was slow but then it grew, covering almost a thrird of the house, Lisa clalled the fire department then fled to a friends. A few days later she turned herself in. She recieved jail time and probation. She recovered in time for ther second album, CrazySexyCool which was released on November 15th, 1994, with the hits Creep, Red Light Special, Diggin’ on you, Kick your Game, and Waterfalls, which Lisa wrote her rap part based on her situation with Andre’. They soon recovered and got back together, but then broke up again. They sold over 10 million copies and became the best selling female trio ever. They were know “Divas”. The girls then recorded a song on the soundtrack “Waiting to Exhale” called “This is how it works”. While on tour for the crazysexycool album Tionne’ became sick, it worsened and she was rushed to the Hospital, she soon recovered. She is now a spoksperson for the disease. They went there own ways. Tionne’ started her own clothes company, Shee Inc. She recorded a song named “Touch Myself” on the “Fled” sountrack. She wrote poems and released called “Thoughts” in November. She stared in a movie called “Belly” as “Tionne”. She alson recorded a sond with Da Brat called “Ghetto Love”. Chilli wrote to the Sally Jesse Raphael show and wanted to find her father, and she did. She also had a baby with there producer, Dallas Austin, named Tron. They also fired there manager “Pebbles”. Chilli and T-boz were named two of the 50 most beautiful people. Left-eye recorded some lyrics she wrote and got back together with Andre’. Left-eye started her own label company “Left-eye Productions”. Chilli also started a label company called “T-Ron Music”, she stared in a movie called “Hav Plenty”. On Febraury 23th, 1999, they relaesed there third album “Fanmail” dedicated to there fans. They were nominated for 6 MTV video music awards and performed live there. On April 26h, 2002 Lefteye her sister, her brother 5 others were riding down a Hondorus highway, when Lefteye lost control of the wheel she collided head on with another car and flipped off of the highway. She wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Left-eye died instantly, the others escaped without major injuries. Lefteye’s death shock the whole world. She had just adopted a 8 year-old. Troubled girl and made plans to marry Andre’. She died on Tionne’s birthday. TLC made the comment “We have lost our sister, and no one will fill her spot”. Her body was flown to Atlanta, where here funeral was held. Her casket was white and had the incription “Dreams are hopless aspirations, In hopes of coming true, believe in yourself the rest is up to me and you”. When Tionne’ and Chilli entered the church fans were climbing over chairs just to take pictures and get autographs of the famous. Yes, even at a funeral. The were so many fans that they all couldn’t get in the church, they were waiting outside to follow the procession to the cemetry. Many of the fans in attendance to the funeral were Tionne’ and her husband Mack 10, Chilli, Usher, and more. On November 12th, 2002, they released there fourth album “3D”, with the hits Girl Talk, So Dumb and Turntable.

Today,

Tionne got married to rapper Mack 10 (aka D. Rolison) and had a little girl in October of 2001, named Chase Rolison.

Chilli started dating the R&B singer Usher, and enjoys playing with her 5 year. Old son, Tron.

Tionne’ is now 33, Chilli is 32 and Lefteye would be 32, too. Rest in peace.
