| The beginnings of ...To Dust go back to late 2002. Guitarist Eric Christenson and former bassist and founder Steve Salamanca decided they wanted to start a heavy metal band, a REAL heavy metal band. They began recruiting members and by February the band was a 6-man team. ...To Dust continued to practice through the summer but ultimately put the band to rest due to creative differences. However, the band was reborn again in January 2004, with the new line up of Jesus Sanchez on vocals, Eric on guitar, Jon Rogister (former keyboardist) on drums, Albert Babanian on Guitar, and Steve on bass. Unfortunately, Steve had to move to Georgia due to family problems, But the band found Jarrad Lander to take his place. After their first show, however, it was decided that Albert should part ways with ...To Dust, as he wasn't able to give his all to the band. Now, one player short, we were on the hunt for a new guitarist, one that really fit that band. We found that person in Steve Jones, incredible guitarist for The Faithless. The bands music and energy performing live has generated quite a buzz so far. There no where to go from here but up... |
