From that point on he was involved in various bands , Split Image, The Depressions, Transbluesion, and Stir Fried, being the more noteworthy. He has performed at a wide range of places, from the Delacorte Theater in Central Park NYC, to the Tinker St. Cafe in Woodstock, NY. After some woodshedding and a lot of live playing experience he relocated to Washington State and joined Bladens Uncle. Recording and performing around the States led him back to New York. Studying with Tommy Campbell, Bobby Sanabria and Kim Plainfield introduced him to Latin, Cuban, and Afro-Cuban music. He fell in love with music from around the world and began to study Tabla with Misha Masuud. Delusion Dog an experimental group performing around New York allowed him to mix Tabla, Conga, and Drum Set in their style of Funk- Fusion. He has performed and recorded with many artists in New York including Dollhouse, The Passengers, Joy Ryder, and Shove It where he met his soul mate, then lead vocalist Dolores Monthalvo (chxleg).
