Tri-City 6 was formed in the region of southern Louisiana known as the Tri-Parish area in the early 1990’s. Originally a dance crew, Tri-City Entertainment group soon transformed itself into a group of graffiti and rap artists. Tri-City 6 promoted and performed at several benefit concerts in the Tri-Parish area. After performing and touring across the country, three of the members moved on to pursue others interests. The remaining three members decided
to continue to pursue their musical dreams of breaking onto the Hip-Hop music scene. The "6" was dropped from the name, "Entertainment" was added, and the group became incorporated in 2003. Since the incorporation, Tri- City Entertainment has gone on to sign and produce a variety of Jazz, R&B, Reggae, and Rap/Hip- Hop artists, including Brainz Davis, the platinum-selling recording artist formerly known as M.C.Brainz. Like many other independent labels, Tri-City Entertainment continues to use its creative resources to promote and market the music of their artists.
Tri-City Entertainment Inc. has now existed for more than a decade, grooving the ole fashioned way...rapping, yapping, and clapping to an all too familiar rhythm throughout the Tri- city area: A rhythm that transcends positive effects and spread otherwise surreptitious news about our business and services. Yes! All by word of mouth, the DNA of music promotion and marketing. Music...we lived it, loved it, and shared it with our family, friends, and communities. With the ever-present computer wizardry, we rave its groove to the trendy, new, consumer whose appetite for good entertainment goes beyond traditional. The peripheral has an effect nourishing all that we surround. There are no boundaries, no negative feedback...only positive, calculable results from which to better promote meaningful, progressive, individualistic styles of entertainment to the masses.
Tri-City Entertainment Inc. is setting the trend with fusion in our marketing: The fusion of the old with the new, the past with the present, spreading ripples of quality music throughout our surroundings that will forever inspire the betterment of our industry. In a very personal and traditional way, by word of mouth, our music promotes itself without all of the commercialism and hoopla that consume the larger competitors. We are the artists, composers, writers, promoters and trend setters that have a DNA marketing strategy. Yes! The only proven and obvious way to provide high volume and easy access of great entertainment on a day to day basis to the masses.
We are a positive, successful fusion that can’t be denied...
We are Tri-City Entertainment Inc. Keepin' It Live!

Brainz Davis
Brainz Davis (born James DeShannon Davis) was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Born with a love for music and a talent for performing, Brainz grew up knowing he wanted to be an M.C. He performed anywhere and for anyone who wanted to listen to him; but Brainz had to face a few life struggles to get there. After the loss of his brother and stepfather; Brainz, by the age of 13, had found his comfort in the streets. He was gangbanging, drug-dealin, and losing friends left and right. He was saved just in the nick of time. It was 1991 and everything changed overnight for Brainz. A friend called Brainz to let him know that Michael Bivins (of New Edition fame) and his entourage were dining at the local Denny's. Brainz woke up mama and they were off to Dennys to take a leap of faith. After mama's quick introduction to Biv, Brainz was freestylin' in the parking lot of the Dennys.... the next month he was on a plane to L.A. As Brainz puts it; it was just like "Trading Places". He was on the Sunset Strip donning new clothes, meeting beautiful women and riding in nice cars. He is part of Michael Bivins Biv 10, and now James DeShannon Davis is MC Brains.
MC Brains 1st major performance was at The Apollo in 1992. He was added to the roster with Boyz II Men and ABC at the very last minute. His single had not yet been released. He gets on the stage and performs "Oochie Coochie" and gets a standing ovation. After that astounding performance, Motown Records calls and they want his album completed in 30 days. In 1992, MC Brains 1st CD release entitled "Lovers Lane" on Biv 10/Motown went gold and his 1st hit single "Oochie Coochie" went platinum. He performed at the American Music Awards, and Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve and was touring all over the world. He presented at the Soul Train Music Awards and hosted Yo! Mtv Raps.
MC Brains graced the covers of many urban music publications; including Black Beat and Word Up! magazines. The women fell in love with his sex appeal and now "Everybody's Talkin about Mc Brains." At this point it all turns around. MC Brains felt taken advantage of by Michael Bivins. Mike was his manager and label, and Brains was a naive 17 year old seeing no financial reward; he was just given peanuts to keep him satisfied. Brains decided to sit out his 3- year contract with Motown and not record a 2nd album. In 1994, he unsuccessfully released his 2nd album entitled "Brainwashed" on Ichiban Records; an Indie-Label out of Detroit. Now he was just trying to survive. Since he was the 1st artist from Cleveland to be signed to a major deal, Brains was still receiving accolades from the locals in Cleveland. He performed where he could, judged talent shows and eventually became part of a local group called Hard Cope`. Now its 2005 and Brainz Davis is his name. His new CD "Gospel Musik", due to be released August 2005 by Tri-City Entertainment, is his hottest release yet. The CEO'S of Tri-City Entertainment feel that Brainz has a tremendous amount of talent and heart; not only making this release justified; but just the beginning of the Brainz Davis legacy. Brainz was a ghost for the last 12 years and now he is ready to let the world hear his story and his music.

Tarantino
Antonio Tarantino Jones was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 27. Raised in the ghettos of Duval County by his mother, Tarantino learned the ways of the street and what it meant to be in them. He avoided being convicted of burglary in 1990, and vowed to get on the straight and narrow.
Enter the music...
Tarantino began rapping as a joke in 1995 when he bought himself a karaoke machine and started recording. He brought the tracks to school, which made offending jokes about some of his classmates, causing him to be suspended. Tarantino only returned with another tape, this time using Da Brats "Funkdafied" to further strengthen his reputation.
In 1998 Tarantino performed in his first show at what was then the hottest club in Jacksonville, Cool Runnings. He performed his song, "Don't Be a Hater". Soon after, he also performed in other clubs in Florida. Tarantino has also worked to put his songs "God Knows" and "Hot", on the radio in his hometown, but because the music circuit in Jacksonville is limited, it is hard to be heard in the city.
Tarantino's ultimate goal is to help artists like Trick Daddy, Trina, and others to put not only Florida, but Jacksonville on the map. He feels that he is the best artist to do this. He traveled between Miami and Atlanta to distribute his demo CD which included 10 songs. Tarantino has 3 years of drama courses under his belt and has completed the co-writing of a script for a comedy titled "Making It Big Time."
Tarantino states, "I plan to strengthen myself as an independent entity and artist in this ever changing music industry. There is a lot of competition in the business so I know I have to be more than your average artist. I have to be a franchise."
With a strong voice, the hungry MC spits, "I take most of these dudes as jokes, 80% of them is fake & 15% of these dudes is broke, but I'm part of the 5% of the population, that separates the real and the fake like segregation... There's no infiltration or breaking our congregation, you need a couple million to join our organization..."
Tarantino has written one album and is currently working on a new album. He feels that writing material continuously is the key. He is also very business- minded, already dropping 2 street demos entitled "Street Heat" volumes 1 & 2. With goals to either start his own record company or to be able to bring new talent to the label he has signed with, Taratino states, "I will be a force to be reckoned with."
After meeting Tarantino at a Bayou Classic Showcase in November of 2004, the president of the independent record label Tri- City Entertainment remained in contact with him. Early in 2005, this contact linked Tarantino with Cleveland's first Platinum M.C., Brainz Davis (formerly M.C. Brains). Together they recorded a song for Brainz Davis current album "Spillin My Gutts" called "Gospel Musik".
Tarantino has also accomplished being the only rapper on the soundtrack to the #1 independent film of 2005, produced by Frank Gooden entitled "Love Trap". The Bangem Boy is running thru every door that's opening! Tarantino's next movie endeavor is the script he co-wrote with Domanick Graham (Grams). The film, entitled "Making It Big Time", is scheduled to start filming in 04/2006.
On the touring tip, Tarantino has traveled much of the country. He has shared stages with not only Brainz Davis, but also Jordan Knight of "New Kids on the Block" fame, Jeff Timmons, from the group 98 degrees, and P.M. Dawn. He will begin recording his first Tri-City Entertainment release in mid June of 2006. Lacing some of the tracks will be legendary New Orleans hip-hop and rap producer, Precise, who is known for producing such platinum selling artist as Mystikal and Ghetto Twinz.
Tarantino is a ghost writer, poet, screen writer, performer, and personifies the future of Hip Hop!
