New York City During The 1980's was the decadence capital of the United States. Filthy rich stockbrokers and socialites tripped over panhandlers while trying to outrun muggers. 42nd Street was still a den of iniquity, chaos and mayhem reigned supreme. Over in the borough of Brooklyn, these problems grew tenfold. In an out-of-control metropolis, the borough of Kings was the undisputed champion of ruthlessness. The place where other boroughs feared to tread bred wild children who absorbed the danger, hard attitude, and street savvy through every fiber of their being and wore it like a badge of honor. Only the exceptionally intelligent, resilient, and mentally independent survived the many pitfalls and managed to arrive alive in 2006. Our artist is one of these urban warriors. Trizolini is a 29 year old recording artist hailing from the infamous streets of Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. Triz, as he is known by his closest associates, has been spitting flames since 1989 and learned to produce in 1992. A veteran performer (over 20 shows to date), he brings the integrity and all around expertise of an individual who has mastered the art of producing, composing, and performing compelling hip-hop music.
Experiencing childhood and adolescence as a product of Pre-Guliani NYC, Triz was privileged to be exposed to both the ghetto charm and appalling poverty and cruelty Bed-Stuy is universally associated with. This gritty existence has influenced his take no prisoners approach to writing songs. Triz's rhymes are an exercise in perfection; like Jay-Z, he has examined the mistakes other rappers have made when it comes to creating songs and has consciously avoided doing the same. There is no "filler" with this guy, no fast forward moments anywhere to be found. Each line seems to be vying to outdo the previous mindblowing line, its absolutely unbelievable.
Triz's quest for perfection was nurtured early on by his mother who taught him that in order to beat the odds of his environment taking him under he had to invest 100% of his effort in anything he does. The quest has earned Triz the esteem of every artist, engineer, and producer he has come in contact with, and will certainly lead him to the top of the game. With influences as diverse as The Fania All-Stars and ODB, plus an uncanny knack for sensing what rap fans want to hear, Trizolini is a legend in the making.
