| UFERLOS is a band whose members are from Leipzig and Magdeburg, Germany. For almost 14 years they have followed their own vision of Rock music in german language. All four participants have completed their tertiary educational level as musicians and have been working in diverse fields: from musical projects in Rock/Metal to Jazz and popular music and also Orchester and Chamber music, theater and film music, Musicals, Opera, Cabaret, teaching how to play instruments, Workshops. The musical basis of “Uferlos” is rock with many sources of influence.They do not accept dogma concerning structure or length of songs. Compositions are created by Gregor and Ekky and final arrangements are worked out with the band. Texts are written by vocalist/keyboarder Ekky, and they are saturated with his literary ambitions. If the concept of “Rockpoetry” were not so worn out, it would be quite useful here. In 2005 the project-editors Hallenser published Ekky Meisters´ first book “Finger Movements for the Black-White-Magic” In 2006 Uferlos released the CD "Inspirin". |
