After having toured with different but noisy kinds of outfits, these five young men gathered their spirits in order to reach high musical goals together, when forming up in arms! in january 2005, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Drained of energy from failed projects and several disappointments, the first goal was to simply create big and seducing music in a melodic and agressive way. Things came to evolve real quick, and by the spring time the band would record its first EP, containing three songs recorded in two days in a comfy, slick studio, which the band normally uses as a rehearsal hall. Over the summer up in arms realised that the only way to capture the pure synergy of this project would be to create a show of pure energy. And now, having spent most of 2005 rehearsing the songs for the first tour, the band seems as ready as any young band out there. Furthermore up in arms have finished a new EP, due out summer 2006, with more than just a fistful of chaos...
