| Urban Gray, founded in Salt Lake City in 2004 is a team of musicians
whose
experience in performing, recording, and song writing runs deeper than
most
local acts. Individually and collectively they have been writing and
recording, playing and performing for over 20 years. While each member
of
the group brings his own individual personality to the band, being
influenced by a wide variety of music styles ranging from Jazz to Folk
to
Latin and Country, collectively they achieve a sound that is truly
unique
and bring something altogether new to the Salt Lake City music scene.
Their new mini E.P. "Stills." A small collection of songs recorded
during an
afternoon session in 2003 is a small taste of what they bring to their
live
performance. While the group considers these recordings as "rustic"
works
in progress; it has been received by a limited public with enough
enthusiasm
to merit sharing these recordings with a larger audience. This record
provides the listener with an inkling of what is to come.
