Looking out of their studio window directly at the English Channel, these two writer/producer/musicians have their sights set on the distant horizons of new music. Having written film and game music, having recorded and produced local unsigned musicians (some now doing very well, thank you) and having dabbled in dance compilations, they have been encouraged to bring their own style of music to the ears of all.So Ricky John and David England set about making an album drawing on their vast influences and a desire to write good, solid accessible music. They have written, performed, recorded and produced all the tracks themselves to capture as much of the spirit as possible.Vanadium is the name (chemical element #23, if it matters) and ambient grooves with a dance feel is the game. Some songs have a conscience, some just have the coolest groove; whichever way, they all have an infectious, uplifting rhythm, fashioned from years of experience in working with a number of styles and musicians.
