The music of The W-Vibe, which has been described as Kraftwerk with a Mick Jagger chip stuck in them, was created by Dan Augustine and Joe Hornacek. The music was made with a variety of vintage electronic instruments, video game systems such as the sonically-rich Atari 2600 and '80s home computers like the Commodore 64. Live performances often involved the use of battery-operated toys and Superballs. The W-Vibe released their first CD, "Game Program", in 1999 on Davies Productions. Their second release, "Libra Action", an E.P. on Science of Sound, was released in 2001. In 2005, their 3rd release, a 7" red record called "Hi-Bouncer 7"" was released on Top Quality Rock-n-Roll! They have also been featured on the "Detroit Now 1.5" CD (Royce Music) "Patty's Favorite Boy Bands" 7-inch records (Top Quality Rock-n-Roll), "One Scene To Another" Canadian tribute CD (Plumline), Mitten [State] Transmissions (Top Quality Rock-n-Roll) and Love To Patty (Top Quality Rock-n-Roll) releases.
