Wanaku is originally from the British Cameroons, West Africa. He is a descendant of Kom, a Kingdom tribe, perched on the grass fields of the Adamawa hills. In a region with several tribes, Wanaku was exposed to multi-cultural traditions through competitive live music, dance and arts festivals.
