White Zombie first started out singing in the mid 80s. They got their name from the 1932 horror movie and success was a long and challenging process for this quartet of horror movie loving metal heads and in the early 90s they had some what of a cult following with their 1992 release La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One on Geffen records, but it wasn't until 1995s Astro-Creep 2000 with the hit song “More Human than Human” started getting heavy rotation on Mtv, radio and was featured in a number of movie soundtracks .In 1996 Mike Judge asked Rob to do some art work for the Mtv movie “Beavis and Butt-head do America”. Zombie drew the whole scene when Beavis eats the mushrooms and hallucinates, also White Zombie had the song “Ratfinks, Suicide Tanks and Cannibal Girls” featured on the soundtrack. Not long after this White Zombie broke up and went their own ways, either spawning solo acts or just joining new bands.
