At the age of 4 William showed interest in music by making up interesting tunes on the old family piano. By 5 his hidden talent brought out his first composition, 'Knight Rider'.
The passion William showed towards music at this early stage was quickly confirmed by a music teacher that he had a rare talent and exceptional ability; William started music lessons at age 7, by which time he had a number of compositions to his credit.
William began busking to help save for his first Yamaha keyboard and buskers amp, quickly becoming popular and was soon invited to play at school fairs, cafes and private functions.
At 7 William entered one the Pacific Song Writing Competition (instrumental section); 'Shark Catching the Rainbow Fish' won him 3rd place. In the same year William undertook a major step to record his first CD "Awakening", a mixture of own compositions and covers that was well received by family and friends.
William won two 1st place scholarships at the age of eight, went on to record his second CD "William Alive" followed by a concert to celebrate its release.
William remains very natural and totally unfazed by such attention, remaining a typical 10 year-old boy.
William shows an over whelming desire for music and continues to compose and create his own style with delight and passion, giving at the same time great respect for other artists music including that of Mozart, Elton John, Billy Joel, The Beatles to name but a few.
With great confidence and ongoing learning of professional techniques, William continues to entertain enthusiastic crowds showing definite signs of being a born entertainer; he plays keyboard, harmonica, sings and is learning guitar.
Williams’s achievements speak of innate talent; 2007 Performing Arts won him numerous 1st and 2nd place certificates and cups including the most promising performer.
William's dream; To still be playing at the age of 80 and making people happy.
