| formed in mid 2003. features members of social infestation and ex members of leechmilk and puaka balava. this atlanta based band specializes in swedish influenced blackened sludge/grind/death metal. withered has been stirring up a frenzy on the east coast supporting the likes of mastodon, exhumed, total fucking destruction, misery index, herod, weedeater, and lick golden sky to name a few. their debut album "memento mori" will be released Sept. 2005 on lifeforce records.
