World Echo is comprised of three musicians from the Denver, Colorado area. We play an assortment of original music that highlights our instrumental abilities, as well as our vocal talents, and blend it with some of the more obscure cover tunes. We have been playing with our current lineup since July of 2006.
World Echo can be seen live at various venues in the Denver area, just check our calendar for dates of up coming shows. We also enjoy recording in our studio, The Juice Box. We have recorded four albums so far and will continue to produce much more music in the future.
World Echo is:
Mike Naumann - Vocals, Elec. Guitar, Acoustic Guitar - Mike has been playing guitar for years and has also focused on drums as well in the past few years. He is also an accomplished songwriter, having written many of World Echo's original songs. Mike also played drums in another Denver based band, The Loose Nuts for a year or so. One of his past projects was My Blind Alley.
Jason Spillman -Vocals, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar - As one half of the songwriting team of World Echo he has been writing songs with Mike Naumann in various incarnations for sixteen years and counting. His style of bass playing could be best described as punchy and melodic, with an emphasis on creating bass lines that aren’t boring or methodical. He also does studio bass work for artists in Denver and has dabbled in acting and writing. Previous bands of note include My Blind Alley, The Deluge, and Still Motion.
Brian Rempel - Vocals, Drums, and Percussion - Brian has been playing drums for most of his life, and has played with a few different bands in the Denver area including The Gypsy Trials Band, and Blind Thistle. Brian also enjoys the graphic arts as well.
