World Music Orchestra Tundri was founded in 2003, in Vrbas, Serbia. It focuses on exploration and development of traditional and folklore music of Eastern and Central Europe. They combine elements of Serbian and Balkan folklore with jazz, rock and pop music, to create composed, authorial music pieces. Created at the boundaries of two different worlds, where East and West, happiness and sadness are all interwoven, their music is the result of a specific, all-encompassing experience of this world and the life in it. In the beginning, the band consisted of 3 members, while today there are 15 different instrument players as well as the Novi Sad Music Academy choir along with their conductor - a professional soprano Verica Peic. The author of all tracks is Marian Babic, a composer, educated at London School of Music in Media.
