Comming strait out of Arkansas one of the most overlooked states when it comes to Rap music and the HipHop culture, Angie says she is determined to put Arkansas on the map along with fellow emcees from her state. With a unique and original style Angie can't be compared to many other female Mcs today. You might recognize this girl if you were to here an instrumental with alot of bass, crunks synths, layed under some snappy but catchy lyrics, or if you were to hear a soulful piano beat, layed under some real talk, strait from the heart rhymes. The world can't sleep that much longer on this 16 year old Female mc, dubbed in the streets "The Princess of Rap"...
Angie aka Yung Angie, born Angela Riley, from an early age stood out from the crowd. By the time she was 11, Angie had already written and recorded numerous songs, performed and won talent shows, and learned something that could only be taught by experience. At 13, with the help of her father and associates, she released a demo entitled, "HOTTISH." Hottish caught the ear of Hamptons Entertainments & Ocean Front Records C.E.O. Ray Los. Ray Los offered her a record/management deal on the spot which she eagearly signed. A year after being with O.C.R. Angie had gained only local recognition, but moved a considerable amount of cd sales. When the O.C.R. contract later ran out Angie decided not to renew and aim for bigger opportunitys.
Now, Angie is back with a new demo that is guaranteed to garner attention from the masses. "Quality hip hop. Highly Recommended," stated Steve Gilmore, a music reviewer known for being tough on rap artist... Lately this 16 year old has been hitting the mixtape scene hard. Not only making a name for herself regionally, but nationally. With offers currently on the table expect not only to hear, but see more from Angie in the near future.
