Lil Choppa, real name Taylor Arcellous Johnson, was born May 5 and raised in Richmond, VA. He has always lived on the north side of the James and claims Church Hill. He represents Cap City to the fullest. In 2007 he showed an interest in music by writing hooks and making beats for AF Unit, a rap group some of his friends had formed. He eventually started writing his own lyrics but never had them recorded. In 2008 he heard some of his friends, Felony a.k.a. Yung Felz, music and decided to start writing again. In the summer of 2008, Yung Tay and his friend Pluck went to DJ Nyne Millz studio. This was the day that his first song Knock Em’ Down was brought about. His second song was Cap City Soulja’s and he has many more coming soon. Gwap Boyz Ent. was created November 2008 when he decided to start his own label/group. Yung Tay is the Vice President of 5POINTNYNE ENT. and is a young rapper on the rise and one to look out for in the near future.
