| Anointed saxophonist, Zedric Teague, is quickly gaining recognition as one of the most gifted sax players today. "...gospel inflected jazz, hard-hitting R&B, and new age hip-hop, creating a unique soulful blend for the purpose of giving God the glory and praise." These are just some of the ways to describe gospel-jazz artist Zedric Teague's style. Although his style has often been compared to jazz artists such as Kirk Whalum, David Sanborn and Everett Harpe, his playing is remarkably different. He is well known for his gift to play his alto sax, but is equally talented on his soprano and EWI. One thing is clear about this upcoming artist; he is anointed to play his instruments.
Among Zedric's many musical accomplishments, he has performed and recorded with gospel-jazz recording star, Ben Tankard. On Tankard's award-winning Play Me in Your Key, Zedric plays on several tracks, including "You Bring Out the Best in Me" which features the award-winning gospel artist, Yolanda Adams.
