| Zitter has delivered hard rock from their start back in 1998. The Stockholm based duo consists of Fred Z on bass and vocals & B Gustaf on guitars. The guys grew up listening to Alice Cooper, Kiss, Aerosmith and the glam rock of the 80’s. These influences are the backbone in Zitter’s solid, melodic n’ catchy punk n’ roll sound. The lyrics deal with every day life scenes, expanding into comments on the world situation.
Zitter’s two first demo releases, Swansong 11 (2000) and Happy Fools’ Parade (2002), have gained recognition, not only in their hometown, but throughout the world as well. Over the years Zitter has built up a fan base on the web, resulting in # 1 positions on SoundClicks rock and alternative charts with the songs Monday, Happy Fools and Soulless Man. The last song is included on the compilation Buzz Songs Volume 1, released by 3000Records.
Alligator Highway (2003), the bands brand new demo release, includes the punk n’ roller Red House, telling the story about the house where Zitter’s music is created, Sunny Day Holiday, a classic rock song, celebrating the fun of summer, the catchy Idiots, a critical view on people trying the easy way to fame by participating in soap operas, The Change, the guitar driving third part of the story about Joseph, Nobody’s Perfect, an up tempo rocker with a bouncing bass hook, asking the question whether there are perfect people or not and Charlie’s Inn, a groovy rocker about the feeling after a rock show.
The Zitter motto continues to be: Respect thy sister n’ brother!
