Zocko is a former piano student of the great Detroit jazz player and Wayne State University professor, Matt Michaels, and also plays guitar, drums and bass on his original blues based rock'n'roll. Zocko now lives and records in Orange County CA. Learned to play loud and hard at the Grande Ballroom and Eastown Theatre in Detroit with East Lansing's Woolies and later in The Blue Money Band. Played at all the Autorama's and teen hangouts in Detroit with all the other local bands at the time, Brownsville Station, Rationals, Ted Nuggent, Bob Seeger & MC5. Plays all tracks on his recordings. Former back-up player for Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Gary U.S. Bonds, Chubby Checker, Del Shannon and The Drifters. Backed up Chuck Berry at Detroit's famous Rock'n'Roll Revival, Riverfront Stadium, Pine Knob Music Theatre, McCormick Auditorium,The Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, University of Hamilton, Hamilton, Ontario, Western Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, The Grande Ballroom, The Eastown Theatre in Detroit and many others. Zocko also played gigs with, and is seen in 16 Magazine with "70's"teen idol Bobby Sherman. A highlight of his life on the road was a motorcycle escort into Toronto with some big fans of Chuck Berry, the Red Devils M/C.Ya gotta love it! Played on the Chuck Berry L.P. San Francisco Dues, Chess Records.
